The call was from the "Loan Approval Department" in regards to application ID 88734578 for a loan application that I never filled out. They want me to call "Jessica" at 877-867-5139 to finish up the paperwork. This is a scam because I never applied for a loan anywhere & if I did it would have been completed in person.

I received the below voicemail ““Hi this is Jessica from the loan approval team I'm calling regarding your loan inquiry grandma finished processing your loan but we need to verify few details specifically about your income please return my call at 877-867-5139 ideally before 5 PM Pacific time today when you call mention your application ID is an apple it is in hotel this is in zebra 34578 again that is a an apple ages in hotel Zin zebra 34578 my number is 877-867-5139 and your application ID once again is 88734578 I'm looking forward to getting this wrapped out for you talk soon thank you…””

I never called her back because I have not applied for a loan. She said her name was Jessica from the loan approval team with the call back number of 1-877-867-5139 but called from 1-445-315-7951 out of Philadelphia, PA.

I get several calls from this organization, with numbers from various cities (if you call you get a busy signal). The most recent call was allegedly from Miami, Florida at 645-213-8844 and giving a call back number of 877-867-5139 with a fake application ID of ahz34578. Some days they call several times.

A woman named Jessica called, with a caller ID number of (917) 516-3058 (which is a NYC area code) saying that she is with the loan approval team and they are finalizing a loan and need to verify my income for a loan. The application number she is leaving is AHZ34578 and she gives a phone number of (877) 867-5139 as the call back number. When she says the application ID again, at the end of the message, she says AH734578. I do not have any pending applications and, based on your website and my web search, this is an ongoing phishing scam.

I have received multiple voicemails from Jessica, as stated in the other posting, from the loan processing team, requesting that I call back and verify a few items to process my loan application. I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING LOAN APPLICATIONS to verify. The message from Jessica is a recorded message since the words and inflections are exactly the same every time! The number Jessica leaves for a call back is 877-867-5139, and no company name is ever mentioned.
