I get calls repeatedly from an AI claiming to be LifeShield, offering a free medical alert device with a subscription fee of about $49 monthly (this is what they asked for, anyway). They ask very intrusive medical questions, ask for my address, and require a bank account/routing number or a credit card number to be provided over the phone. Repeated requests to speak with a person were denied; the AI claimed to be a real person, even though it got confused by basic questions on my part. The AI provided a callback number, 888-883-4603. At that number, humans do not answer, and an AI claims that the customer does not need to speak with a human, as it is equipped to handle all your requests.
