I was called y Lexie saying she was a literary agent from Hachette Book Group publishers and she was going to take my recently published book to a traditional publisher. She promised money of $50,000 then 100,000 with a final payment of 350,000.00. Then she told me I need an international license and I could pay her company attorney 3500.00 To get the license. I was a little suspicious when I googled the attorney. Then I called Hachette group and was told there is no employee by the name of Lexie.

I was contacted by Lexie Fermiza -claiming to be a highly successful Literary Agent, and Sean Manning - a Simon and Schuster - VP of acquisitions of new book releases. it is an orchestrated tag team to get your manuscript and data, and require you to obtain legal documents from a phony attorney that you have to pay for to get these certifications.

Simon and Schuster has replied - we are so sorry to confirm that this was a scam. The real Simon and Schuster individual you mention has never spoken with you; his real phone number is not 347-741-8629.
