Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
He began posting about how he does credit repair and can get you $250k in personal and business funding and clean your credit completely “guaranteed”. I assumed anyone who would guarantee their work had to be legit plus he was living the life I wanted for my family and myself, especially during the pandemic. So I reached out to him in a direct message via Instagram where I followed his page. We began communicating and he asked what my credit looked like and he assured me that he could get my credit completely repaired “guaranteed in 20 days” and as far as price we eventually got down to $3,000 (originally $4,000). I didn’t have the $4k at the time all I had was about $1,500. Several months go by before and I finally save up $3,000, it’s now during the height of the pandemic and I’m even more desperate to get my family into a better situation so I reached back out to him letting him know my situation and he accepts the $3,000. He tells me since it’s not the full $4k it’ll now take 60 days guaranteed to completely fix credit and then do the funding of $250k. This was ok with me because 60 days to change my families life and my sons circumstances was worth the wait! Well to speed up the story after sending him the money via Apple Pay over a year goes by and still no clean credit. I was patient the entire time him and the point of contact or PRM as they called it were telling me because of the pandemic things were being delayed. This made since to me because of the news and things were being shut down. But this year just recently actually as I continue to see him on his IG take extravagant trip after trip, drive one luxury car after the other, literally toss thousands of dollars in the air in night clubs I began to have questions. So I started to ask the point of contact about how much longer it would be and that the guarantee was for 60 days and it’s been well over a year. After not being satisfied with her extremely delayed responses I requested a refund. This is when it all went down hill. She blocked me and every other phone contact I had did as well. I’ve tried several times to reach out to him personally via Instagram as that was our form of communication and he reads my messages but doesn’t reply. I called the number that was once at the bottom of their website and it was to a completely different funding company and they informed me they had no affiliation with Mac-Angelo nor his company. They even emailed me later after I reached out to their affiliate department and sent them the screenshot of their companies footer at the bottom of the scammers website and they said he was using it illegally and they would get their legal team on it. As of today that footer was removed so I guess their cease and desist worked. This is when I realized I had been scammed. I have yet to hear back from him. I tried sending a payment request via Apple Pay for my refund and that number is no longer accepting Apple Pay. I successfully sent a refund request via Cash App another one of his accepted payment options and I left a note so he’d know it was from me. That request was declined. I tried to send another this morning and it now says “Your request couldn’t be sent because LEVELXSTREAM doesn’t want to exchange cash with you” which means I’ve been blocked there too! I hope people see this and won’t make the same mistake I made. Me and my sons mom broke up over this because we could’ve used that money during our most challenging times which is right but he convinced me that I was doing the right thing for my family. This has legit caused grave pain and suffering in my life at the worse possible time. Please be careful anyone that may read this!
