On Sept 5, 2026 I got a phone call from a Eric White from LendingClub stating I was approved for a 6500.00 loan and sent me a email to input my info on it was asked for my user name and password and stated he needed it for verification of account ownership a one time thing that he will not take any money but just to verify my account. Since today is Labor Day he said he would have to wait until tomorrow to verify my acct. I gave him the routing and account number. When I saw it asked for my user name and password I told him to that I don't give that out and he said that it was for verification purposes only. I proceeded to fill out the info requested. He said he would call me back tomorrow to finalize the loan. After which I checked with the ScamPulse.com and found out it was a scam. I proceeded to log into my account and changed my user name and password. Thank you.

Personal Loan $8000k with documents sent via email with dropbox link for signatures. Also, a link for online application. Person had an indian accent Adam Jones 415)651-6089 Adams Jones

Wanted bank name, routing & account number, debit card #, expiration date and code, Also wanted user id and password to verify income make direct deposit and withdrawals for monthly payments. Email also came from: no [email protected]; [email protected]
