- Williamsport, OH, USA

Repeated and unwanted phone solicitations regarding a business loan. They won’t stop calling. The company lies. And I’m on the National Do Not Call list.

- Broomfield, CO, USA

I get robo calls from Eveyln and Jason from the "underwriting team" with Lending Union West Coast Branch daily. I block them and they call from a different number...every single day. I am not going to "press 2 to speak with someone" as I know this is a scam. How can we stop these people?

I've started writing down the phone numbers they call from: 346.844.1119, 877.377.0383, 208.537.4947, 888.836.6580, 616.407.9907, 262.464.8767, 774.614.2772, 928.223.0431, 224.287.7030, 307.285.3941, 941.992.6996, 484.964.7572, 855.769.6166, 833.469.7303, 502.824.5010, 866.681.6847, 855.523.6218, 833.472.9858, 877.476.0129

Caller identified themselves as Evelyn from lending union west coast branch. They proceeded to tell me tjay I am almost done closing a loan and that they only need one more information for me to finish securing the loan.

Keep getting voicemails from an "Evelyn from Lending Union West Coast branch". "She" claims to have called me AND texted me in the past and is waiting for me to get in touch. The scammers never actually texted though.

I haven't applied for any loans. Rarely give out my cell number, so don't know how the scammers found it.

- Irvington, NJ, USA

The call repeatedly pretending to be an underwriting agent asking for more information to complete some lending application that I have never initiated.

- Olympia, WA, USA

I have been receiving voice mails for weeks from “Evelyn with the Lending Union West Coast branch.” They reference a loan I never applied for, saying it’s approved pending personal details from me. The call is from a different number every time, area codes all over the country. It’s clearly a robocall. I block the number every time, and the next week it’s a different number, exact same voice mail.

I've had calls every week, the same as the other reports, a recorded message that the loan is ready just need more details. One day I answered the call and talked to a man, actually he sounded from within the US, so I asked what loan are they talking about that is all ready for me that it just had to be finalized, and he said we can check to see if you qualify, I said no. I have been getting 20-30 calls a day from people trying to sell me insurances, Medicare, or give me a food card and cash back, etc, and when I say I'm not on Medicare they hang up. Some call saying I had an accident that I did not receive compensation, and they are testing my patience, I use my cell phone at the salon and this is ridiculous. I am registered with the do not call list, for many years, but it does not help. Most calls I can not understand what they say because their strong foreign accents. I have also recieved calls that you can hear its a call center, my guess is India, due to their accidents. They pretend to be a credit card or visa customer service call center, and say that someone applied for credit in your name, and we need to verify so we can stop this if it was not you etc, or that someone is buying a laptop with your credit etc. They want to verify with last 4 of SS# then they can stop it from going through. I say I don't give out my information, for all I know you are a scammer. Or my bank would call me if this was true. they hang up. Between the scammer emails, texts and calls it's getting very frustration. Something needs to be done about this.

- Suquamish, WA, USA

I have received 10+ voicemails from different phone numbers each time, all with the same robotic voiced transcript saying that I was being contacted to accept a "secured funding" and to connect to an underwriting

- Dunkirk, NY, USA

“This is Evelyn with lending union west coast branch. If you've got a minute now press two to speak with me or someone from the underwriting team directly and if you've already taken care of your funding great otherwise this approval is set to expire by the end of July so that means this Thursday is the last day to wrap things up? You're always welcome to reapply down the road, but I'd love to help you finalize it now if we can. Again to move forward press two now or give us a call at 844-986-6680 to opt out of future calls press nine

- Lincoln, CA, USA

I get at least 1 phone call a day and it says my loan funding is almost approved and they need a little more information, so I assume they want personal information, but I have never actually talked to someone it sounds like an AI voice and says "press 2 to talk to me live right now"

- Red Bluff, CA, USA

Constant calls almost daily from "Evelyn with Lending Unions West Coach Branch" which is an AI generated Robocall. It goes on to say that they are in the "Final Stages of Loan approval and looking at the paperwork, everything is there and we just need to verify income." where they want you to "press 2 now to speak to finalize the loan." They call 4-5 times per week and send text messages. PLEASE SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN, OR WHOMEVER IS REPSONSIBLE FOR THIS! I can't imagine how many vulnerable people may fall for it and give up personal information whihc leads to identify theft or fraud using their information. This needs to stop.

- Ballston Spa, NY, USA

I keep getting 4-6 calls a day from different numbers claiming to be Evelyn and other names from the lending unions west coast branch regarding a loan application requesting a call back to finalize the application. The most recent phone number was 708-464-8200. I block all of the phone numbers that call and then they call from new numbers. It appears that the numbers are from all over the US based on the area codes calling. I have never answered any of the calls although they leave a voicemail most times. It is harassing as I have not applied for credit and fear that they are attempting to access my info to take money.

- Hamburg, NY, USA

They left me multiple voicemails about finishing my loan verification and that they need income verification by the end of the month (or else i woukd have to reapply). The company name was never disclosed and they finsihed the call by saying press 2 now to speak with someone or press 9 to opt out of all futurw calls

- Rochester, MI, USA

This has been going on for months. They say they are in the process of approving a loan I have never applied for. They call multiple times a day, from multiple contact numbers. I refuse to take the calls and I block every number but they continue to call and I am sick of it! Here is an example of a voicemail they leave. "Hi, this is Evelyn with Lending Union West Coast Branch. Almost there, everything's nearly approved and ready to go. We just need to confirm a couple details, income related questions and address verification. You can also take care of those on-line through the loan portal. If you have a moment now, press two to speak with me or someone from the underwriting team directly. If you've already handled your funding just let us know otherwise this approval will likely expire in a few days."

- Bremerton, WA, USA

Evelyn scam, like others.

- Meridian, ID, USA

My daughter receivied this voice mail which she didn't solicitate: “Hi, this is Evelyn with lending union West Coast branch. I've been trying to reach you over the past few days. Phone calls and texts messages offering financing if I verify my income and contact info. Also provides an option not to be contacted anymore if you “press 9”
