An Eddie Vargas and a Mark Byers alleged to be process servers calling from 949-535-1580, purporting to have been hired by my county, but in other calls were hired by a law firm called "L. S. & Associates," that could be reached at 877-271-3186. They provided a case number and instructed to call and "ask for the legal department." The 877 number was called, answered "Litigation Department," they asked for the case number and then asked the caller to confirm SSN and DOB. I declined to offer or confirm my personal information, at which point they said the process servers job is to find me, and they eventually would.
