My husband and I moved in at Kennett 776 on 4/8/2025 with a move out date of 4/7/2026. Base rent was $2100. At the end of our lease on April 7th, we requested a month-to-month agreement. We paid the month-to-month fee, rent and utilities and requested a move out day of May 7th because that would be the end of our month from April 7th. Around $2800. We checked our account and realized that $736.73 had accrued for 7 additional days. It was never explained verbally or written that charges would accrue from May 1st to May 7th. When we told Kennett 776 what our understanding of the agreement was (from 7th to 7th) there was no response until we were notified of additional charges on the 27th. On April 6th, Kennett 776 stated that there were no outstanding charges on our account. We have paid the $736 to avoid it being reported on our credit but they are scamming us and the charges are invalid.
