was contacted via email for a remote data entry job was told to contact kelly hill via microsoft teams app for interview. signed into app and contacted kelly hill set up for interview on wednesday feb 15 went thru process and was told that i got the job and that they would be sending me a package via fedex with a check to set up my office and on friday feb 17 emailed a check to be mobile deposited and they wanted a copy of the confirmation screen. i don't have a mobile bank app so walked into my bank on february 18 and they said it was scam and this check was invalid. even if i had mobile banking app the amount would have been flagged because it was too much for them to deposit. i had started to order supplies and the information that they have was my name and address and phone number. the package from fedex never arrived the tracking number is ************.
