Attempted to book flight for myself and family on Kayak.com. after entering all passenger information, as it was processing the booking via Chat Deal via Kayak, says the price increased $100, then continued and then the price increased another $800! I declined. Immediately get a call to see if meant to cancel. Yes I did because you're gouging us an extra $1,500 over Orbitz for the EXACT same flight (dates, times and airlines). First time using Kayak.com and will NEVER try again. Save your money and sanity and book elsewhere. Do not feel my information is safe.

In March of 2022, I bought tickets for my partner and me to travel from Portland to Morocco. Our flights were to leave on October 8, 2022, with layovers in Los Angeles and Barcelona. When I went to check in to the flights on October 7, 2022, I found out that the first leg of our flight had been canceled. Kayak's policy states "We will ensure that You are notified of any significant changes once We become aware of them." No doubt, Kayak will argue that it was unaware of the cancelation. And if that's the case, then I immediately make Kayak aware of the cancelation because I called, sent emails, and used their online chat system to try and get onto another flight.

Kayak's policy also states, "If the airline company cancels a flight or fails to operate it according to the originally scheduled time, You will have the possibility to choose one of the offered alternatives for Your travel arrangements." And that they will ""endeavor to resolve the situation as soon as possible.” I'm writing this on October 23, 2022. It's been more than two weeks since our vacation was utterly and completely destroyed and despite numerous and repeated calls, emails, and contacts via their online chat system, I haven't heard a single word back. I haven't been offered any alternatives for our travel arrangements.
