Type of a scam Travel/Vacation/Timeshare

This fake law group was associated with a fake buyer (Luxury Travel) of my timeshare that was connected with a fake corporation impersonating Hilton Grand Vacations. I was contacted by a broker representing Luxury Travel out of Mexico wanting to buy my timeshare. They connected me with the fake law group Jackson Fentenot Welch Law Group supposedly out of Los Angeles, CA who drew up a contract with me and Luxury Travel. I was then connected to the owner of the resort, Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). The fraudsters were impersonating HGV and so they supported everything that Luxury Travel and Jackson Fentenot Welch Law Group drew up. Several wire transfers were sent to Mexico for Admin fees, taxes to Mexican Govt., penalties for lack of declaration form, etc. The whole thing was a scam. These individual companies (and more) played off of each other and continued to scam me to over $24,000.00 before I reported them to the FBI. All communications ceased after that. I still see Jackson Fentenot Welch Law Group website (jwelchlawgroup.com website up, but no one answers the phone number listed on the website (213-802-0087).. Do not get involved with any of these entities before thoroughly vetting them. 2/3/2025
