Scammed on craigslist while looking for concert tickets. Seller accepted my bid for tickets and then requested I send the payment through Zelle or Apple Pay and he would then transfer the tickets through ticketmaster. I look to find that USAA (a banking service for US military servicemen and their families had this payment service Zelle on their app. Trusting that it was offered through USAA, I assumed their was protection through their service like Paypal or Venmo. Upon receiving the request for the funds through this Julian Juarez, I transferred the $600, only to not receive the ticket transfer and to have his cell number at which he was calling from block further calls. His number was 1(213) 275-5966. I have left a dispute with USAA. But it looks as though I am not given any protection through using a third party service through their banking app.
