Got a call from Judy Baylor in pretrial department for mediation phone number 901-464-3000 ext. 126. Stating that she had some papers set to be filed in Hamilton County for a bad debt with All American Finance. She told me I had to pay $1930. I could pay $200 today to stop all action, then set up two monthly payments of $515. She stated that I would be paying Sterling and Associates as they are the collection agency and would be taking the payments. She transferred me to a James King 888-933-0080 ext. 103. I had to give my debit card information for the $200 to process. Of course I was freaking out and thought I have never been in trouble and if I owe the debt I will for sure pay what I owe. I have since gotten a couple other calls that I have researched and haven't paid anything to them. I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue with this type of call.
