I have received several calls from this number and they describe some kind of legal proceeding or court case. They intimidate by saying I have been contacted and need to call back or suffer legal proceedings. I go to their website and am asked to put in my phone number to reach a settlement with them. I have not entered personal information. BEWARE!

JRM Legal group called and said they are an issuing firm for a legal matter and that I am the defendant in the legal matter. They gave a phone number to call back of 888.689.5961. The caller ID# is 279.204.2714. I do not have a case against me. They are lying as a scare tactic to pay off a debt which is bogus. I am a 1L at a law school. They are lying.

every other day or so, this "process server" is attempting to reach someone associated with this number.. they want you to call them back or go to the website. there is no case number, name or anything to identify the target of the information. they call my cell, my husband and our home.. its getting ridiculous. so i called the number they gave, and no answer, just voicemail.

Just like the person who reported this same situation, I have been called numerous times over the last 2 months from a supposed county processor, claiming that I’m being sued and this phone call is an attempt to serve me papers. The message goes on to say that I’m the defendant and if I don’t call 888-689-5961 and speak with JRM legal group or go to their website, then further action will be taken. The message warns about dealing with this so I don’t miss important court dates, etc. I’ve gotten calls from Tonya (she sounds like AI), and tonight a Michael. Tonya called from multiple #’s 279-205-5168, 279-205-5234, and tonight was 279-204-2719. I also received a call from NY from a James Babikian around when these calls first started and when I google searched his name it came up Seattle lawyer with a suspicious head shot picture and JRM legal group affiliation. Clearly that was meant to scare me into calling the #. But I never have and I won’t bc I have read the reviews of what happens with the “county processor” scams and they sound terrible. I had already searched the legal group and it came up scam immediately. When the first call started in January 2024, the business had only been up and running for two weeks prior (according to the Google search). I notified the FTC bc of the aggressiveness of the voice messages. Haven’t heard anything back.

Voice Mail caller says they have legal documentation for someone with my phone number. Did not say a name just someone with my phone number and direct the person who has the number to call 888-689-5961 or legal action will be taken. No specific information was giving about legal documentation. No specific information about the legal action that will be done.

Call from (971) 273-1039 and They want me to contact them at 888-689-5961 and they threaten me with further legal action. The caller says to go to their website to download the case information at www.jrmlegalgroup.com.

Phone call received on 3/3/2024 9:10 AM CST. I did not pick up. The call left a voicemail; the message sounded very humanlike and included frequent changes in intonation, pauses in speech, verbal clutter ("um", "uh"), and even the sound of wind over a microphone. If this was generated by an AI or other software, the generation method is sophisticated. Here's my transcription of the voicemail: "This is Michael with the county service department. We're making an attempt to deliver legal documents to the individual associated with this phone number. If you are the defendant or know this person, please have them contact the issuing firm that is handling the case immediately as to not jeopardize missing important court documentation. Their phone number is 888-689-5961, or you can call this number back. Failing to going to contact the issuing firm may result in further legal proceedings to take place; you have been notified. Please visit JRMLegalGroup.com to view your case information. Again, JRMLegalGroup.com, or simply call this number back. Thank you."

This 'company' has been making spam calls to my phone for over 3 years asking for a Jessica Roberts. This person does not exist & I have told the 'company' I have no knowledge of this person. They continue to call my phone with their automated calls with their recorded message. The recording refers potential victims to their website jrmlegalgroup.com. On the landing page there is an entry form which links the called phone number to another portal entry. They have no real world presence with out an address & only exist online and over VoIP call systems.

Looked up the name and number and noticed that many people and websites have discovered they are scammers phishing for money owed on bogus debts. Checked on the California Corp Commission and they don't exist. They will find people to scam with their calls and bogus website that seems legit until you look at it a bit further.

This was a scam robo call to call back this number of the 515-706-1277 or call back 888-689-5961 and that there were legal court documents and a court case against me that they were trying to deliver legal documents.

I did NOT go to the website nor call them back, but reporting this stupid scammer [censored] to you , they are upping their games lol

There is no such thing as JRM Legal Group. they said " the owner of this phone number" is involved in a case? and the phone number was a local not the 888 everyone is talking about.

they proceeded to ask me about a outstanding warrant and im not even old enough to receive one.

Call came from 512-631-1480 said his name was Michael and threatened legal court documents and said to call JRM Legal Group.com at 888-689-5961 or call this number 512-631-1480. Very threatening voice.

First off, I don't answer phone numbers I don't know, so as the phone rang I looked up the phone and found it on NOMOROBO with a potential voicemail. It rang through and the caller left the exact voicemail as what is NOMOROBO.

We're attempting to deliver legal documents to an individual associated with this phone number. If you are the defendant or know this person, please have them contact the issuing firm that is handling a case immediately as to not jeopardize missing important court documentation. Caller calls at least 2 to 3 times a day . with different numbers with the same automated message that they have legal documents that need to be delivered, to call this number back before any more legal action is to be taken . or we can contact thru email at JRM legal group****

Received a voicemail today from someone with a southern accent telling me they were attempting to deliver legal documents. They called from a spoofed local area code but gave an 888 number to call them back at, as well as a website. Threatened that failing to contact them could result in legal action.

I knew it was a scam and ignored it but when I came to look up info on something else I'm suspicious of, one of the results was someone else's report whose description matched the voicemail I got exactly - their's just came from a different (presumably also spoofed) phone number in a different area code/state local to them. Figured it would be helpful to contribute my experience as well while it was top of mind.

These voicemails have different names leaving the message but this is my 4th message this month saying “ This is Michael with the county service department. We're making an attempt to deliver legal documents. Individual associate with his phone number You are defendant or know this person please have them contact the issuing firm that is handling the case immediately just to not jeopardize missing important court documentation their phone number is 8 8 8 6 8 9 5 9 6 1 or you can call this number back family contact issuing , firm the result in further legal proceedings to take place you have been notified Please visit JR M legal group .com, to view your case information Again , JR M legal group .com Simply call this number back thank you…”
