We found a vacation home on VRBO (https://www.vrbo.com/7039787ha) and contacted the owner, JR (Jim) Rushing, to book it for a long weekend. He asked if we could pay outside of VRBO so he would not incur their fee. I mistakenly trust him and paid him in full. He promised to send the contract/rental agreement over the weekend, but did not. I asked for it numerous times over the span of 2 weeks and he failed to send one. I then asked to cancel and he said he would refund my money minus a cancellation fee. I told him I haven't received nor signed any contract or agreement notifying me of a cancellation fee/policy and I wanted a full refund. He has yet to credit me my money. Do NOT rent from this man. It is a scam!
