On 02/20/2025 I got stuck on the side of the road in North Carolina due to a snow and ice storm. I Googled a tow company and Road Rescuers INC was the first to populate on my search. I called them and spoke with a man. He asked a lot of questions. I was desperate to get home. I called around 745am. I was asked to send pictures to (281)2705976 of my vehicle. I was quoted $837.40. I agreed. I was told if I cancelled, I couldn't be refunded. I was also told, someone would come to me in 45mins. An hour passed and I got a call from another company, stating they were leaving now and should be there about 45mins. An hour passed and the male called back, saying that he tried to leave his drive way and got stuck a min down the road. He was not coming to me. I got help from people on the street and was able to get out. I immediately called the Rescue Place back. I advise them of what was happening. They told me they would send another person out. I told them not to, as I was able to get out. I requested a refund. I was told I could only get half back. I explained that wasn't fair. They never provided the service and their driver said he wasn't coming. At this point it was about 1030am. Id been sitting in my car waiting for help. The man finally agreed to refund me. I got an email from another Tow Company that said they were refunding me money. The fee never came off. I disputed it with my credit card company, and Rescue sent them something I signed for the service. I sent them the email I got. My credit card declined my request, saying the company names done match. I've called Rescue multiple times. They have hung up on me, after putting me on hold. They tell me I need to speak with "billing" but billing is never available. I was told to email them. I've done that too, with no response. I never received service from them and want my money back.
