they call and say they will be sending out a legal document. for a payday loan for 2011 or older. i never got a day pay loan. they call all my family members. which makes me look bad. now they are calling me like what is going on. they call every year sometimes evey 6 months i am still waiting for the papers to come it is a scam they called my husband before and he paid it thinking that it was real because they said he would lose his licence

This scammer called my elderly mother telling her that they were ready to file a suit against her for collection. That the collection agency had turned it in to this law office to sue her. They even gave her a case #. I called the office myself and spoke with an Andrew Thomas who stated she had a delinquency from a hospital bill from 2002 and 2011. And that the last time the collection agency sent her a letter was on 11/16/2017. They case would cost her $2976.13 but he could talk to his supervisor and get the amount down to the amount she owed the hospital. He then proceeded to put me on hold for a minute and came back and told me that the supervisor approved it for $1305.50 He would send me an email with the documentation so I could pay for it. I did not respond to the email. But I knew it was a scam because I’ve been handling my mothers finances and was quite aware she had no debt. My mother was smart in that she didn’t give them any private info. But apparently they were able to get private info from the hospital. They were able to attain her birth date, her address and the service dates.
