John Woodworth reached out to me as I was hosting a fundraiser for the nonprofit I work for. He offered to come in, donate auction items, hold an auction of several items (mostly vacation packages), and to split the profits with the nonprofit. 5 months later, we have not received our promised proceeds, and now we are getting calls that some auction winners cannot redeem their vacations. He is not answering phone calls or helping anyone. When they do rarely get a hold of him, he gives empty promises to fix it and never does.

Essentially John just told a customer that if he isn't happy to take it up with his credit card company (report fraud and do a charge back). There were many people at the fundraiser, and unfortunately, we've not been able to find anyone with a good experience with their item auction. A report has already been filed with the local county sheriff's office.
