The person told me his name was John P. he answered an add I put on a local website called NextDoor local news site. I need some carpet cut to fit a room in my house. He came over an looked at the job and said what was the best way to do it. So he told me how he was going to do it and that he had all the material to do it. He gave me a cash discount to do it and he followed me to atm at highland square to get the funds so I fell for it was. On 6/15/25 he wrote it up on a receipt invoice to do the job on 6/20/2025 He was a no show. his phone is 234-340-9526 it goes to voice mail every since. Nothing from not a word.
