Type of a scam Phishing

I dont go anywhere i stay at home 24/7 so its easy for me to put 2 and 2 together. i had to get a tooth extracted a couple weeks ago. The day after i leave Pacific Dental Group’s office in Stockton, CA after having a referral there to get a tooth extraction i get Spammed texts (1 text almost every day) with a link to activate my “John Muir Health MyChart account” i dont have John Muir Health and never have had them. I called John Muir Health they said thats not them sending me the texts. I know how hackers work. If i click that link then that gives them access to my phone from there they can do plenty. Im concerned about my SSN that i used with this office. I dont think its the office working maliciously but someone there like a receptionist. The phone number that texts me had been report for Spam by 11 and Scam by like 20+ people when i looked it up on Google. Im sure some simple investigating of everyone who got spammed/scammed by that number would lead detectives to that dental office in Stockton.
