Calling my line that I have had for 25 years addressing me as my daughter who has had her one phone line for 19 years. I can google right now and find her phone number and her address online So, why can't this caller? oh, but they can, if they were legit. The same goes for our address. If this was a LEGIT company:
1)they would not call me on my phone addressing me as my daughter, they would state they were looking for my daughter and could I pass the message on. This is not what happened.
2) any credit file would have her contact details including address as it has not changed in DECADES.
3)Legal representative would not leave messages about a supposed debt on other peoples phone messages. they tend to not do this when they have a match. FTC protects the consumer on this front. This way no one else can hear your personal details. Another flag.
4) would not get upset because you demand to know how they got your phone number for someone else.
5) if there is paperwork that is of legal nature that needs served, processors do not call you first. (this is funniest of all.) They go by the address the company gives, the back up details of where you work and they "candidly" serve you on the sly. They do not provide advance notice that something is coming UNLESS it is the actual creditor telling you they are going to legally seek judgement. That would not come from a boogus "disptacher" ...And even then, you are not needed at any hearing of determination, they judge simply determines judgement and it will be placed on your credit file. Suing anyone is easy, getting them to pay is another.

How do I know this? I have spent many years in credit, collection and credit reporting and credit reporting removal.
UNLESS you get something from JLP themselves, which would come from them in the mail as a letter of demand or a letter of intent, this is a freaking SCAM! DON'T fall for it.

This woman keeps calling me saying she is a dispatcher and I am instructed to return her call using 20231679 as a file number in their office.

They said I went default on their agreement and mentioned documents to be sent. The guy was rude and hung up on me. Saying it was he had no control over which number they call. He seemed offended when I tried to ask him what these documents said. I asked to call me and not my work

I received a call from my area code, 956-758-370, I answered as I was expecting a call from my doctor's office. It is someone by the name "Mike Garcia". Told me that they were a processor trying to serve me with legal paperwork from JLG and that I needed to call another number, 888-445-6001, and that they will follow up with me later. If you call that first number back, goes to the whole "investigation line cannot recieve calls message".

I called the other number, was told a name and that they needed to talk to me regarding a legal matter. Asked to confirm my name and case number and my address. Told them I was not confirming anything personal past my name until I was given more information on them. Was refused all information and was asked if I lived or ever lived at my address. Told them if they were about to serve me, then they should have that information already. Person on the line got upset and started pushing harder on the address. Ended up telling them nope, never heard of that street in my life. Dude was not happy.

After that I asked them to stop calling me or I was filing a harassment suit. Low and behold after that threat, they now call me on a blocked number. So far as of this morning and it not even being 10 yet, I have recieved 12 back to back calls from this person over this. I have even resorted to answering the call and waiting for him to say something, just to loudly blow an airhorn into the reciever. Still calls knowing it will happen.

Word of advice for anyone getting similar calls, don't give them your information. If they were going to serve you court paperwork, they would not be calling you. Processors get paid only after they serve the papers. They will not be risking their payment to ask you for your address. Even then, just think, no one will call to say they are serving paperwork just because it gives you the opportunity to dodge them.

Stay viligent out in todays world, stay safe, and lock your credit just in case.

Some guy by the name of Chad Rios has been calling me at my work place. Says he is with dispatch, and He is telling me he has papers to deliver to me and need to verify the address. I need to call JLG at 877-894-4376. He is calling me from 985-314-8029. I asked well who do you work for, he said I am just the dispatcher you need to call JLG. I told him he obviously does not know anything about the Fair Debt collections Act and to stop [censored] calling my work. He has been calling my work since Friday 12/23/22, every day. How humiliating for me at my work place from this bogus [censored] Scammer.
I haven't called JLG. When you google the 877-894-4376, nothing comes up.
When you call the number that Chad Rios is calling from (985)314-8029, it says “You have reached the investigation line, this number does not accept inbound calls at this time.” If this was legitimate, this would be handled in a more professional manner.
SCAMMERS!

Had a nasty threatening voicemail from "Jane" (239) 899-1533 local number stating she was a dispatcher representing a company called JLG, and they needed to deliver some documents urgently via courier with a file number and then gave a number to contact. She stated I would be sued in court if I didn't respond immediately with an address to deliver to. I called her number back and got a recording stating "investigation line, does not take incoming calls" I call the number the message instructed to contact (844) 614-9799 and the man who answered stated he needs an address from me to deliver to, I told him he could deliver to my PO Box since I am homeless due to Hurricane Ian, and he said no cant do that, and it has to be handed to me in person. I asked him what JLG is and what is stands for, and he said he didn't know and no one ever asked him that before. HaHa nice try! S[censored] scammer.

Same here, they called my work place and said I needed to call JLG at 844-614-9799 and give them an address to deliver documents. This call came from a Paul Gray claiming to be a dispatcher. When I told him that I don't need to call anyone, if you were a true dispatcher and you were able to call my work number, then you should have my work address. He then got mad and hollered "That is NOT how this works maam, you need to call them!" When I said No I dont, then he got really mad and said "Let me speak to your Supervisor!" When I told him No, my Supervisor will just tell you to Go to Hell because giving personal information to another person on a true claim is illegal and everyone with any brains knows this he got furious! ha ha. I then told him he could deliver the documents to 666 go to hell street, FU, TX he finally hung up and stopped calling. No true processor will ask to speak to your manager, that is how you smell a scam am mile away.

I got 3 calls in 1 hour at work from a 'dispatcher' who refused to tell me who they even worked for, but that I needed to call someone else to get info on a claim against me. So, no documents then? They initially said they need my address to deliver document, so I said ok, deliver them. Then they said call a number and I'll call you back in 45 minutes? I stated don't call my job again, they hung up in my face. Then they called twice more and told a coworker I was being pursued and would get documents delivered for a debt, and even told them my address and other personal Information. When the coworker said "I am not supposed to be hearing this, she is here, would you like to speak with her directly", they refused saying "No, she'll just hang up." Wow. They got me to pay them money, threatening I would get my car taken away or wages garnished and the harrassment wouldn't stop until I settled and paid over the phone. They never gave a legitimate address or number for their business, just that they are JLG. When I said I wanted to make sure they were legit, Veronica Reedman chuckled. They call you from different numbers and give you different numbers to call. They need to be prosecuted for their practices, especially if fraudulent.

This is a strange thing! But they called about three years ago trying to do the same thing; 855 703 1240 or JLG has continued to harass my family members with calls claiming there is a “personal claim” against me. Mind you, I haven’t received any documentation nor any physical calls from this number directly. I was alerted when my family told me. So I called them from a blocked number and they asked to verify my social without stating what the claim was. Once I relayed to them that they are a fraudulent caller and need to place me on the DO NOT CALL list, they proceeded to say well someone will arrest you shortly and hung up! It is a scam do not give out your info for any means
