Scammers called AM 24 Feb 2025. They said we had won $15.5M Publishers Clearing House sweep stakes. Very Convincing. They emailed large package of attachments supposedly from PCH. , Quite convincing again. In the attachment, IRS section, there is a clause requiring a permission stamp that cost $150,000 for those processing big bucks. They wanted me to wire transfer $150,000 from one of my investment accounts to my checking account and then send them a check for that amount. They would then take care of the stamp and everything else. I objected, wanting not to use my existing funds before I get prize funds. They gave me a garbled explanation that I would be re-ambushed latter. Last PM, I started examining the day and concluded the thing was a scam. Tip-offs were :: 1. PCH website says They will never phone to inform about large awards. They will do it in person, or by mail. 2. Their request for $150,000 out of my pocket. 3. Anglo-Saxon names but Middle East or Hispanic voices. (Names given were Don Davis and Bobby Lee). There was one native American person, but I have lost his name. He handled the mechanics of the internet package. 4.Multi phone lines. 5. Why would PCH have an office in Lynchburg, TN? Another phone No they used is 629.257-7396
