I found the puppies online in a search for Dachshunds and the pictures were connected to her contact info. We messaged back and forth, I agreed to the price of the pet, and for an extra $200 they would deliver the dog to my home, $1000 total. Then I was asked to send $600 for an air conditioned carrier to rent, they stated would be refunded, or purchase one for $1200. I declined to pay any further monies to anyone, with the exception of the balance owed of $600 for the pet. I argued with this woman back and forth and finally said I was no longer interested in moving forward. Her contract states they hold 10% of the deposit if you cancel. I offered for her to keep $100 and send me the balance. An excuse that the pup was registered with the delivery place, and when she unregistered it, then I could get my refund. It was Christmas weekend so didn't do anything. I wrote on Tuesday the 26th and asked for my refund, and I was told that now until the dog gets a new home, she would then refund me. That was never talked about, not in writing anywhere or anything else. I filed a fraud complaint with my bank, however I'm probably out the money. I've read since all of this started that I'm not the first one this has happened to. Her facebook, and pictures are all fake. Please, don't send her any money. Every thing about this seamed wrong from the beginning, but I had hopes I was wrong.
