Tried to scam me out of $618.

These two guys tried to scam me out of $618 for one tire. I originally called them, because my tire was completely flat and I needed a change. Also, I will say I am young woman (so they really tried to get over even more). They told me it is a $50 deposit to come out. And it starting at $65 to change the tire as long as the nugs on or something in that nature. So I paid that, he said it will take 15-20 min to get to me, turned into an hour. When they got there, it was an old BMW 90s X5 silver, I believe. One guy, who was Hispanic, got out the car, both of them completely sloppy, no professionalism at all. He gets out to stick a logo sign that says Jay Mobile Tire Service & Roadside Assistance. Anyways, I just needed my tire fixed that’s all, it’s hot, just got off of work, pretty tired and already stress. Strangely they were about to put on my spare, all of sudden they are saying my spare is no good. (Which I didn’t believe) because they were doing everything on the side of their vehicle. I couldn’t see anything at all, but at this time my car is sitting up, and no tire on it. I asked them, okay, well what are my options, they told me they have some used tires at their “warehouse” nearby. Used ones for $40-$60 and new ones for $100-$200. I told them specifically I didn’t want a brand new tire, I wanted a used one. Because I could get 4 new tires for $500. So, they said they would go get the tire, and bring it back. Took them about 30-45 min to come back. Bringing back a brand new tire, and before they left they told me they will give me a quote. They came back said the same thing we are going to send you that invoice, I never got one, so they finally got my tire on after attempts saying that my rim is damaged, and it’s not holding or some bs like that. Again, I’m a female, alone with these two men. So, after he completely, my car is still sitting up on the thing that holds it up, waiting for the invoice just for him to bring me his phone with all these different prices stating that I owe them $618 for one damn tire change. I was completely confused and appalled, and extremely upset. I’m like I don’t have no $618 for one tire change. I said you all never disclosed this to me. I told them to take it off, I don’t want the services and to keep the deposit. He told me if I did not pay the $618, they will tow my car to the impound. I automatically went to go sit inside my car. Demanding them to speak to their manager. They kept refusing, walking off on the phone talking to whomever. Then came back to say can we put you on a payment plan. I said no, I can’t be on anything. This is outrages, and this is how y’all are getting over on people. This should be no more than $150 at least that’s how much I was expecting to pay the most. and that’s including the deposit. They eventually downed it all the way from $618, to $200 because I wasn’t taking no for an answer, I didn’t even want to pay that because he lied to me from the beginning. They pretended like they wanted to help me. Meanwhile the other guy, a black man, sitting in the car the entire time. So I still got screwed. I feel like they damaged my spare tire to do try to scam me out of the whole $618 itself. Strangely, after I sent the money, he said, he picked up his phone and said he received it. Showing me that it was never any manager or anyone over them. There is now address to this company. Justin and Mike were there names. I disputed it to cash app, and will be filing a police report. This just happened yesterday. I called them around 2pm, I didn’t leave until after 5pm. 5/31/2024. Their license plate is RVN003. Cell phone number 469.508.2945. The other guy who supposedly was in charge of it all that stayed in his car, number is 214.772.1566. I still have yet to received a receipt. They act like they did me a favor stealing $250 from me from $618. Someone need to stop these guys, they been doing it for 6 years is what he told me!

Towing Scam

Called Tow Masters 469 508 2945 to change a tire - Javier Villa. Cash App $199 to $AccountingRoadside1. Never showed up, will not respond to text and calls. Contacted attorney who contacted Javier who said he would look into it. Filed Police report, reported to google, reported and disputed with Cash App, contacted bank for fraud investigation.
DO NOT SEND HIM ANY MONEY.

I got two flat tires and I got their number from google. I called and he said he would send someone but I needed to send a deposit of 80 dollars and once both tires are changed I would pay the rest for a total of 190. Once the guy came and he took both tires and rims to the shop to place new tires in he calls me and tells me my rims are cracked and need welding and would be an extra charge of 225 for each tire. I told him to please take photos of the damage and send them to me. He said he would but only after I send the remaining balance of 630 dollars via Zelle! He told me to hurry up and make a decision if I wanted to fix them or not because the welder didn’t have time to waste. I agreed only with the condition that photos and proof of the repairs would be shown to me. Not even 15 minutes later after I made the payment of 630 the guy comes back with my tries and rims ready to put them back on. How does welding 2 rims only take 5 min? I called and told him to send me the photos and all he has sent was receipt and two photos of my truck with the rims already back on but never pics and proof of any repairs. They didn’t do anything to my rims. My rims were not cracked or bent. They lied and told me they were damaged and charged me 225 to “fix” each one. SCAMMERS!
