Scammer presented self at American Airlines customer service representative. Told me that all American Airline flights were sold out from MIA to JFK and therefore I could not rebook onto another AA flight after missing my connection due to AA delay. Informed me that he would transfer me to the "rebooker" who would help me - leading me to believe that I was being transferred to another American Airlines customer service person. The rebooker told me that all AA flights were overbooked but that he could get me (and my family) on to their partner airline, Delta Airlines, the next day. He also told me that the tickets he quoted were so expensive (and getting more expensive by the minute) because AA flight cancellations were rampant. I bought the very expensive Delta tickets. When I looked at the credit card statement a week later, the amount of the tickets was put through as two separate charges: a charge for the Delta tickets and another charge for $2,834 by TRLV*EXPERTS*888501351. I was completely astounded. These people had mislead me into believing that I was being helped by American Airlines and that the total amount I paid was for the tickets (not some imposter agency). The phone number was out of service when I tried to call them to question the charge.
