I got a call from a private number that left a msg indicating that they were trying to serve me papers. They left the above number to call back claiming to be JR AND ASSOCIATIES which when you call they answer jacob rossi associates (they say it so fast so that you dont catch what they are saying)! This person BRIAN POWERS (notice I am giving names) states that he has tried to contact me via email, phone and even tried serving me at my old job (which is a LIE I called and verified no one has trried to reach me/serve me there). He goes on to say that he is the collections agency for WELLS FARGO and that I owe 2098.93 but they tried to setttle for 594.26 but couldnt reach me. He then says that the 2098 owed comes from 1 overdraft and that fees were continuously added to that leaving the acct with an ending balance of 2098.93. I knew this was sketchy so I hung up on him and called WELL FARGO and spoke to MARKITA (rep) she was really nice. She looked into this issue and told me that this was a SCAM and that there was no such debt for me and that they have their own collection agency! DO NOT i REPEAT "DO NOT" ACCEPT ANY CALLS FROM THEM AND BY ALL VERIFY EVERYTHING THAT THEY SAY!
