A voicemail message indicated I would be charged $299 renewal fee for a tech support contract I did not have. A call to the phone number, 1785-734-4681, informed me the company was IYOGI, to which I replied I had never heard of them, and I didn't have a contract with them I was told "nevermind," all without asking who I was. As of now I have not lost any money, but I will continue to monitor my accounts.

Sent an email that they were renewing my "subscription" and charging my checking account for $489.00. When they offered a refund, it was in the form of a form to fill out and give them my checking account number. I reported them to my bank.

They called saying I would be charged to maintain my iYogi support package, hit #1 to speak to representative then after I did it said hold for a few more Poll questions, someone came on, very noisy background. I said they had wrong person and #, he said I was a liar and they had correct everything. Asked if I wanted to give them info to proceed with refund. I said I’m not giving you anything as I’m not the correct person, he asked again for personal information which I gave him none! He got quite angry and rude, then I heard someone say be careful how long have you been on line with person and he hung up immediately. I knew it was scam and wanted to report it. I’ve had numerous scams from irs, police Dept, tech companies all with last 2 months.

I have been receiving multiple calls from this company stating that I had signed up for tech services and that my renewal was coming up. I finally got a bull horn to blast in their ears, but they still called at least twice a week. Today I received an e-mail from them stating that $489.99 payment had been received and that I was renewed for 3 years. I never signed up with this company and when they tried to give me a refund, they wanted me to go into google Chrome only to consumerid.net and click on connect to refund department 1. I have had to cancel all credit card companies to have hold put on my cards, and contacted my banks to put holds on them. I really wish you could do something with this company, because in the background I could hear several people telling others the same thing this guy was telling me and I was lucky not to be gullible, but there are others that are

I received 3 calls by 3 different phone numbers all from IYOGI in the last 4 days saying that I will be debited 299.00 for automatic renewal of a service contract. I do not have a service contract with them. I haven't done business with this company for over 15 years when I purchased a computer from them and they provided very poor to nil service. They tried without success to have me allow them to login to my computer and asked for personal information as well at that time. I never heard from them again until 4 days ago. I have not had the original computer for many years I read of an almost identical complaint to the Better Business Bureau today to determine whether others have lodged any complaints and discovered that there were many complaints. I am concerned that they will try to bill for a service contract that I do not have as that is what they state they will do on each of the voice mail messages they have left on my phone. In the past when I purchased the computer from them they were very intrusive, manipulative and deceptive about trying to get information and money from me. I never gave additional funds to them. I am concerned that they might still have credit card information that they could attempt to use. Each message stated that they will automatically bill for renewal of a contract. I would like the ScamPulse.com to be aware of the current situation.

I received an email with an invoice for a subscription that I had supposedly bought for iYogi service. I called the given number and was told that I had an account. When I informed the salesperson, Kevin Parker, that this was not valid and I was going to report him, I was sworn at and then he hung up.

Originally tried this service back in college. After canceling the service they continued to try and charge my card. They then would try to call with different numbers and collect my credit card or debt card information after claiming they were charging me to renew my membership.

This company and its website should be banned entirely from the U.S.

I received an email from IYogi saying I owed them $489.99 for services I had purchased. When I called them at the number listed (530 385 8662 they claimed they had to access my computer to clear the billing error. After elaborate information gathering they claimed to send a credit to my bank account to cover the amount they would withdraw from my account for the supposed services resulting in a net 0 transaction. Using their technology they generated a fake bank account web page showing a "deposit" of $4,499. I told them that was an error. In their "correcting the error" they said I should go to Best Buy and arrange for a purchase that would cover the error. Realizing I was on the verge of being swindled I told them they were scammers, hung up, and cleared my computer screen. I later checked my bank account and no activity related to the scam had occurred thus far.

I received a voice mail claiming that a fee for a subscription for software services would be charged on my next credit card bill. I called the company and was told that I would need to install software to in order to decline service. I neither requested nor will pay for any services from this company but will need to contact my credit card company to make sure there is no charge. I refused to install the software.

We purchased Total Defense virus protection with our new laptops from PC Richard in 2012. When we needed service my boyfriend allowed them remote access to his computer so it could be cleaned. They had him do the same on my computer and he agreed to have his credit card charged for a maintenance plan. They got into our computers and never left. They also had access to our router. We had nothing but trouble with both laptops after that and eventually had to replace than as well as the router. Luckily we knew better than to continue contacting them and no more money was given to them, but to this day they still harass both of us with spam calls from different phone numbers several times a day. They threaten to charge our account if we don't cancel our "plan". We do not respond to them and so far nothing else has happened but they are pushy and persistent and rude and I wish someone would put them out of business before more innocent people are scammed. I no longer trust tech support from any company because different companies outsource to this scam company. Do not trust them

In 2019 I was charged $299.99 by iyogi for tech services that I never ordered . I challenged this with my credit card company for months. Over the past 2 months, I have received 10-15 robocalls per week to my landline stating my account would have $299.99 deducted due to auto-renew of service. I ignored the calls for weeks. I was directed to hit 1 talk to a manager which I finally did, demanded they stop calling me. stop threatening me with bogus charges, and that I knew they were a scam. I was told they needed access to my computer or my debit card account to fix this. I refused to provide any personal info and hung up. They have increased calls to 2-4x per day. They use various numbers which seem to get around robocall blockers. Can you stop this harassment?

Was contacted by phone (from multiple calls from this 'company') saying that I would be billed $299 by an auto renew for my subscription to their tech support. I was instructed to call the number they gave if I did not want to renew. When I called the number, the gentleman answering the phone only answered by his first name (twice, by different people since I called twice to make sure I had the right number.) Then, the rep told me I needed to log onto TeamViewer in order for the processing dept to be able to issue me a REFUND since I had already been charged the $299, according to the rep. After refusing to give the rep access to my computer, I asked to speak to a supervisor to get the same story. Moved up to yet another supervisor. This man then tried to get me to allow them to access my computer by Anydesk. I refused to give access. They refused to handle me not being charged $299 unless I logged on to one of the computer access program-- which I did not. IF I actually get charged $299, I will instruct my bank that it is a fraudulent charge. No business should handle their accounts this way!

I received a phone call from I Yogi. The man told me I was eligible for a refund. I asked how much. He said $399. He said I had done business with them in the past 2017. He said I need you to go to your computer. I told him I was not at home. He did not tell me what the refund was for.

On 10/11, 2019 I received a phone call from a company who told me that my Iyogi went out of business, and owed me a refund of 399.00. when I checked my account i had received 3,999.00. when i spoke to the company he said it was his mistake and he needed to fix it or he would get in trouble. I only had to pay back 3400. when i checked again, he took 3999.00 out of one account and put it into another. I had to go and get gift cards to send to him to pay back the money.
