IT USA Reports & Reviews (89)

My company received a phone call saying that we had an unpaid invoice for two printers amounting to $1,220.95, which included the name of one of our employees as well as the make and model of our existing printers. We asked the person the phone to submit an invoice and after investigating it was clear that this was a fraudulent invoice.

An invoice from IT USA came across my desk for just over $1,200 for HP Laserjet supplies. The Laserjet model mentioned is an older model and our company does not have that model. However, with many locations, I followed up to see if it was legitimate. I first called the number on the invoice and it rolled to voicemail. I left a message asking for more details on the purchase. I also searched for information about the company and could not find any information other than people who also received fraudulent invoices. The company did call our AP department back, not me, a couple of days later. IT USA followed up with an email to the AP person which was then forwarded to me. I responded to our AP person and the IT USA email address stating we have not ordered anything from IT USA, I consider the invoice to be fraudulent, and I would not consider this matter unless any additional documentation was supplied. Within an hour, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the Accounts Receivable department of IT USA. She stated that she saw my email and if I didn’t order any items, she could provide a cancellation number. I accepted the number and asked how they even thought we ordered anything from them. Who placed the order and where was it shipped? She said she works in AR and does not have that information. I then asked if she could send me any information about the company. She just repeated the cancellation number and hung up. The email address goes through an offshore secure email service and their phone number is masked when calling. I am sharing this information for anyone else who may find an unexpected invoice. I also hope someone eventually pursues this company for fraudulent activities.

I received an invoice from IT USA for "copier products" that totaled over $1200. I called the company we use and they informed me they do not know who IT USA is and that all invoices come from them (the company we lease from) directly and not from any other 3rd party. I did some internet research and, apparently IT USA sends invoices to companies for copier products and hope said company will just pay the invoice. On the invoice, it says payments are due by 7/27/18 and any payments received after are subject to late fees. The envelope is post-marked 8/1/18, so that was a clue this is fake as was the fact there weren't any of our copier numbers on the invoice in question.

- Fremont, CA, USA

Received an invoice from IT USA for products never ordered (not one of our authorized vendors). Did not loose money because our company policy restricts payments if vendor does not supply certain information.

- Indianapolis, IN, USA

This started when I received a call from a company asking about our printer supplies. It wasn't a memorable call, nor did I agree to purchase any products. I ended up giving them the make and model of our printer. A few months later we received an outrageously priced invoice ($1,220.96) with my name as the contact for two supplies for the mentioned printer + shipping and handling. We get all of our printing supplies through a lease agreement with a local company that our IT department works with. When I received the invoice, I immediately recalled the phone call and new it was scam. A quick google search confirmed my findings!

We received an invoice in the mail from IT USA. It said that we ordered 2 toners from them for $600 each for a type of printer that we did not own. I called customer service and received an automated message each time asking to leave name, phone number, and invoice number and they would call back within 48 hours. I never received a call back. We are out $1200. DO NOT PAY INVOICES FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE FAKE!

- Beaverton, OR, USA

We purchase toners through Staples and Pacific Office Automation (via contract). Never anywhere else and the invoice came with my name on it. Of course spelled incorrectly. I haven't ordered toners since 1996 so considering the fake invoice was dated this year it wasn't me. $1,200.00 worth. I called them and let them know what I thought about it. Do NOT pay the invoice. I also told them anything we receive from them will be considered a gift. Which we will never see any product.

Received invoice for products never ordered.

This invoice was originally mailed to us, sent to the attention of one of our employees and it was determined that she ordered nothing from them or that product. The product was vague, but came to $1,220.96. We shredded the invoice.

Two days later, I had a message from Debra Mitchell from this company, asking me to contact her about this particular invoice. I called her and she emailed me the same invoice. I replied, telling her that we had contacted that particular employee listed on the invoice and that employee had never ordered anything. I then asked her what exactly was that product? She called me 24 hours later and did not dispute the fact that we had not ordered such an expensive product and gave me a cancellation code.

We received what looks like an invoice for a Hewlett Packard printer

At the bottom it has a place for your credit card information so you can pay for this printer or save 10% for an electronic payment

It also included a 2nd page with "special offer" for a $100.00 free rewards Visa if you give your name and ext. with the payment

We never ordered this printer

Received invoice from IT USA for $1220.96 for copier supplies (2 of something that cost $598.99 each + shipping) that were never ordered.

We've had a maintenance agreement with our local copier company for the last 15 years and would never use this company.

Invoice dated Jan. 22, 2018, company address listed as NY; postmarked Mar. 7, 2018 Los Angeles, CA.

Have been receiving invoices for HP products and supplies we have not purchased or received. 3 invoices for aTotal in charges of, $6391.42

On February 1, 2018, I received a phone call from a Debra Mitchell, requesting payment status on an invoice. When I asked for details of the transaction, she specified that it was from IT USA; Invoice #83489 dated 12/11/2017 in the amount of $1,220.96. She said that a specific employee within our organization had ordered/received goods from them. During that phone call, I requested a copy of the invoice, which was e-mailed to me, along with an offer for a free $100 VISA gift card. The goods listed on the invoice were (2) Hewlett Packard Laserjet Pro M402s. When Debra called me to see if I had received the invoice copy, I told her that I needed to talk with the other employee in order to respond, and that I may need to report this to the ScamPulse.com. After researching further, I e-mailed Debra back, indicating that I had spoken with the other employee, who was 100% certain that this scenario had never taken place, nor was anything received to support the validity of the invoice. I requested proof of delivery in that e-mail, including a valid signature so that I could research the matter further. After further research with the BBB, it was discovered that this EXACT same scenario (same invoice #; same $ amount, etc.) had been previously reported to them by multiple businesses. When Debra called me back to tell me that since she couldn't locate a valid proof of delivery, the invoice would be written off, I told her that I was still going to report it, which I am doing now. BE AWARE!!! She was very pleasant & professional with each interaction I had with her, but was quick to hang up when I told her that I was going to move forward with my plans to report it.

This is the second time I've received an invoice from IT Usa for printing supplies. Both times I've tried to call and there's no one who answers the phone, just a voice mail. We lease our machines and all products come from them. Like the reviews for them on this website from other people, they send out fake invoices in hopes that we will pay it.

Received an invoice from IT USA for "Canon Imagerunner 330 Supplies", quantity 2, cost $598.99 each plus premium freight. Invoice total was $1,220.96. Our Accounts Payable manager contacted them because we could not discern the source of the supposed purchase. We received an email from [email protected], signed by someone named Debra Mitchell in their Accounts Receivable department. The generic nature of the product description, the associated cost, the lack of a website, and lack of company identification on the voicemail greeting when I called are all huge red flags. Also, when doing a web search the first hit is the BBB site and their 100% negative rating.

- Hudsonville, MI, USA

Our corporation received an invoice via snail mail for a product we never ordered or received for about double the cost of what ever it is for copier supplies.

Do not pay invoices received from this company. It is a scam.

- Dubuque, IA, USA

We received a bogus invoice addressed to one of our employees. We did not order the item specified. It looked like a legitimate invoice, but after further investigation, it was ascertained that the item on the invoice was never ordered. We do not have a business relationship with IT USA. In addition to the invoice, they claim that you will get a $100 FREE rewards with a photo of a $100.00 Visa Gift Card. They claim all you have to do is include your name and extension WITH the payment to get the "reward" sent to you overnight.

I received a month old invoice in the mail from IT USA for two, HP printers that I never ordered. There is an address and phone number listed for IT USA but when I googled the address a site for a "Virtual Office" in New York came up. I could not find any information about IT USA by googling the company name, either. When I called their customer service number listed on the invoice it goes to a voicemail box that says "Thank you for calling customer service (no mention of the company name). If you know your party's extension, please enter it now (will not let you enter any numbers). If you do not know your party's extension, please leave a detailed message and allow us 48 hours to return your call". SCAM!!! When I googled their phone number a handful of rip-off reports came up from people with the exact same experience.

- Norcross, GA, USA

Contacted via phone call regarding past due invoice for copier toner in the amount of $1220.96. Requested copy of the invoice. Our company had not ordered the supplies, never received the supplies, and does not own the type of copier referenced on the invoice.
