An automated message is received and saying that there was a law suit filed against my name due to the tax fraud. They ask you to call the appeared phone number as soon as possible to resolve the situation. When I placed the call a male with a very strong accent (middle eastern I believe but maybe wrong) saying that I have to pay them immidietly and that the federal warrant arrest was issued in my name, that I am under survailance and if I do not comply, ill be arrested on the spot. I was told to go to the nearest Walmart and purchase a Money Gram from person to person in the amount of $500.

This scam attempt involved a phone message from “Robert Morris” who said he was calling about an enforcement action to be taken against the intended victim executed by the US Treasury. He said that ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an appearance before the grand jury or magistrate etc. etc. His message did not make a whole lot of sense if you listened closely to what he was saying, but it was clear that he was throwing around words that he thought would be intimidating and frightening to anyone listening.

He left a return phone number of 347.344.5309.

I received a call from (206) 201-2074 stating that it was the IRS and my final notice that a lawsuit would be filed against me and to call them. I called them back and a man who barely spoke English answered and said that it was indeed the IRS and they have filed a lawsuit against me. He asked me for my case number and name which I told him I did not have a case number and why was I being sued. He would not answer that question and after a couple seconds of silence i just hung up.

Told me that he was calling from the IRS, wanted to collect $6,000

I knew right away and played along, told him my name was Mary Poppins, gave him the address to Neverland.

I got him to admit it was a scam, I told him that we could party. He then told me how much they collect in a day.

He proceeded to call me after I hung up; he kept saying he wants to talk to me, because I sound sexy.
