Left several threatening voice messages on our phone while away on vacation that we owe the IRS back taxes and must pay up ASAP.

Phone message said the IRS was filing a law suit against me and I was to call phone number 202-476-0697. Caller ID said it was Washington DC.

This is an ongoing scam, well publicized, and I don't understand why it can't be stopped. The phone number for the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration which is recommended to be notified is always busy.

They call say they have an IRS Lien and give you a number to call back because it is a robo call. 509-288-4641.

I am on the do not call list. Like that matters.
