sent me an email charging me for $449.99 for an annual subscription which I never authorized. It is saying that "the debited amount

will be reflected within the next 24-h on your A/C statement."

I tried to call the phone number provided (843-558-8351) to question the order that I never ever authorized in whole life, but the Indian-sounding man who answered the phone was incoherent and apparently either drunk or just fooling around. He then hung up on me.

"John" was contacting us impersonating QuickBooks. My father and I had been trying to reach out to the actual QuickBooks customer service as we are their customers and then we received a phone call from 510-369-3778 (California). "John" acting as a QuickBooks customer rep proceeded to send instructions to utilize a screen sharing program where they can control your computer. I did not mind as other QuickBooks reps had done it before to teach me how to use certain features. However, I started seeing many redflags as "John" was trying to sell a "LIFETIME" "QuickBooks for business" for $399. Once I started asking technical questions and he evaded them I knew it was not quickbooks. He started deleting applications from my computer and insulting me and I immediately disconnected his access and hung up. BE VERY CAREFUL!!! This is exactly what he wrote on a note:

Kasey called from a Los Angeles number 323-639-7877, on 03/10/20 stating she was our new Quick Books Account Advocate. She asked us to call her back so she coud serve us better. I called Quick Books and they told me no one should be calling me. The caller did not know our names either. Quick books gave me a case number. Today on 03/18/20 a guy said his name was Patrick and that he was my new Quick Books Account Advocate and he was calling from Reno Nevada.775-834-0056. I hung up on him. Next he emails me without the case number info that quicbooks has given me (Clue no. 1) and writes the following: He sees that I called intuit and called earlier about Kasey. He and Kasey both work for inuit at the Fredrickburg, VA location, which is Clue no.2. Neither called form that area code.He says they dont call for information because they were assigned to my account and that I can reach out to them, (not quickbooks) to verify they are employees. Clue no. 3- Said he was Patrick on the phone. His e-mail *** address is Timothy and his signature is Bobby Holzer. It looks like a legit email but I know it is not and I do nto want to open it.
