I was first contacted via text from (615)-909-3697 by a Courtney Katlyn stating they reviewed my resume on Indeed, offering me a job as a Data Entry Analyst. I said yes i was interested and they proceeded to tell me to download the app Signal, contact the number (832) 5590483. and given an interview verification code . The contact came up as Jennifer Rodriguez. The interview over text answering a set of questions in a time limit of 15 minutes each, 3 sets with 15 questions total. I was not asked for any personal information. I was told I would receive an an update on my status in the morning at 8am my time, and I needed to be prompt to answer their message. They contacted me at 8 am their time with an offer for employment. At that time they wanted my personal information, name, number, email etc. I found this odd as they already had my personal number since they text me about interviewing.

After I passed the interview and offered me the "job", I was told I would need to purchase a list of the required office equipment through a trusted vendor of theirs, and that they will email me a check of to make the purchase with that money. They claimed the department was having issues with their personal courier and it would be faster if I purchased the equipment. When I inquired why would I send payment to the vendor when the equipment is being purchased through said vendor of their choice the vendor would be downloading the software, it would make more sense for the vendor to receive the check from them. That as the last I heard from them when they saw i wasn't cooperating.

Scam I was sent the following

This is Mrs. Jennifer E. Boatwright from Interwell Health. We just received your resume data base on our desk through our multiple job board partners. Kindly reply back if interested and I can send you more details. Have a nice day!

From (657) 300- 4609

And then I was told to select a position to interview for. I had a zoom with someone by the name of Lisa Ann [email protected] where I was told I would receive a check to purchase equipment and let them know once it was done. I’ve had this happen to a friend before and their entire account was shut down.

Just got this and don’t feel good about it. Feels like a scam and reading something similar on here I now know it is.
Lisa, You’ve done impressively well answering the questions. As you may know, Interwell Health will fully cover the cost of your home office equipment.

If you’re considered to work for the Company, you will receive a payment that’ll be used to set up your mini office at home by purchasing your office equipment for this position. Can the Company ensure your full trust, commitment and diligence in completing this task?

The scrammer reached out on a potential job. I did an interview and received a job offer. I was sent information such as a W2, Direct deposit form and acceptance letter to fill out along with a photo id of myself and a driver's license copy. I was told the next day that i need to purchase equipment for my training and i will be reimbursed. I didn't exchange any funds and went to report this behavior to the ScamPulse.com

Very similar to the account I read on your website by another victim. I was sent a text message from 301-905-9719. The text read: "Hello, My name is Chloe Bradshaw and contacting you from INTERWELL HEALTH (www.interwellhealth.com). The job board suggested that we should reach out to you, because your profile suits our need for a Data Entry Clerk. We've reviewed your resume and we're excited to invite you to interview for the open position. This position is available for FT or PT, working from home and with a pay of $30/hr. Kindly let us know if you're interested, we look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards." I wrote them back that I would love to interview. They then sent me the following text: "Thanks for your response. You'll now be redirected to HR for more information about our company, position and interview process. Communications will be done via Signal Messenger App, it's free and easily attainable. Kinkly download the app from www.signal.org and when that is completed, connect with Jennifer Coleman on the app using the number below. The first message should be your interview code. Phone: +1 513-549-3801. Interview Code: INH-03. Good luck." I wrote back, "Thank you." They texted, "Let me know once you are connected." So I did. After that, I was then connected with "Jennifer Coleman" via the Signal App. She introduced herself as Jennifer Coleman, the Hiring Manager of INTERWELL HEALTH. She said she would be conducting the interview and would be providing more details about the business and the position. She asked for the "interview code", then said it was verified. She said the entire interview would be done via Signal Instant Message. Then there was a "Note" that the conversation will be subject to audits for quality assurance and control, and that during this process my "timely response will be highly appreciated. Ok?" She then went on to ask typical questions about whether I was able to work in the U.S., fluent in English, Proficient with Microsoft Office, above 18 yrs. old, etc. Once she learned I met those qualifications, She then wrote me an entire list of the "Responsibilities/Duties" of the Data Entry Analyst (Analyst? I thought this was clerk.) Then she sent me an entire three paragraphs about the company; all of which was true, as I investigated online (something anyone could do just to get the information). The first real red flag was when she told me "the position isn't displayed on the website's career page because we've selected a few people for interview and that includes you." (I guess they thought I'd be flattered. It was a flag.) She then told me that Interwell Health will "take full responsibility for your Office equipment." She said I would have 2 weeks of training via Zoom...pay is $20/hr for training and $30/hr when you start...after training. The position is FT or PT...hours are flexible, so long as you work the full amount of hours in a week. Next was the actual interview part. Same as the other complaint I read, I was given three sets of questions, five in each set, and 10 minutes per set to answer. Once the answer was complete, I was to type "DONE" at the end. So that's just what I did. The questions all seemed legitimate. They were typical interview questions. I've managed businesses and these were some of the same types of questions everyone asks...Until question #13. The question was: "(a) Would you prefer to be paid weekly or Bi weekly? (b) What financial institution do you bank with? To see if it tallies with the company's salary account." THAT WAS MY BRIGHT, BLINKING RED FLAG! What I responded with was, "Either is fine with me, but if I get to choose, I would say weekly. I'll share my banking info later, in a more confidential setting." She responded back with, "The company does not need your banking information, just the name of your bank to see if it tallies with the company salary account." So, I told her the name of a bank...just not one I bank with. She then said I had done impressively well answering the questions and reminded me that Interwell will "fully cover the cost of your home office equipment". Then went on to tell me that if I'm considered for the position that I will receive "payment that'll be used to set up your mini office at home by purchasing your office equipment for this position. Can the company ensure your full trust, commitment and dilligence in completing this task?" Of course I said, "Yes." At this point, I thought, "I'll play your game." So she scheduled an appointment for me to contact her the next morning (via the Signal App) at 9am EST. That's tomorrow morning. I'll contact her, but I'm pretty sure the end result will be the same as the other victim who wrote you.
