Spectrum internet went out and I googled “Spectrum customer support” for help. This company came up when I googled “Spectrum customer support” and, when I called them, the acted like they were checking internal connections at Spectrum and then suggested that my outside cable was bad and suggested I upgrade to wireless. My wife gave them some personal information to set up wireless account thinking we were speaking to Spectrum but found out at the very end that this company was not Spectrum an was trying to switch us to T mobile wireless internet. My wife gave them drivers license, social security, address and name but no financial information because they were trying to switch us to T mobile and then wanted to charge $1.01 on credit card to set up the account. When they transferred us to the person that would get our credit card information it became ver clear we were being scammed and Spectrum customer support wasn’t who we were speaking with. I reported this to Spectrum as well and their Kentucky customer support person said that they’ve been getting complaints about this.
