A rep called me from this company and told me they were alerted by Microsoft Corp. that I had hundreds of errors and warnings from my computer and that it was going to crash soon. I had been having trouble with my computer and thought this explained it - so I was vulnerable to their scam. They took remote access and showed me all of the warnings. They said my license had been corrupted (and even told me the license number that I was able to verify) and that they could reinstall it for a period of 1 year, ($199), 3 years ($299) or up to 10 years (399). I gave them my credit card number, although I was skeptical. A friend happen to call me and told me to disconnect from the Internet immediately, which I did. The rep knew something was up and told me he would refund my money. I am keeping an eye on my credit card to see if I am billed.
