I am a medical coder and biller for an Urgent care. We have many patients enrolled in IBA health insurance policies. We no longer accept this "insurance" because it is a scam. They deny every claim stating they need to "rule out a pre-existing condition" and request medical records. I have proof that I have sent needed records MULTIPLE times for EACH patient. The claims never get processed and when I call to inquire about the claims, they state they "never got the records". Also, with their new answering service, you cannot get a real person on the phone. I stayed on hold waiting for a representative and the automated system started over again and tried to redirect me to log on to their website. Out of roughly 30 claims I have filed with IBA, NONE OF THEM have been reimbursed and all of them have been denied for the same "pre-existing condition" reason.
