I was contacted in mid -November via email by someone claiming he had spoken to me and that I would be enrolled in Wellcare. I had spoken to no one. I am not 65. I do not qualify for Wellcare nor would I ever use this farcical company. The email also said I would receive a notification to cancel my employer sponsored health care which panicked me. Fortunately I did not. I field a complaint with the ScamPulse.com for fraudulent and predatory sales tactics and they advised me to complete a complaint in stead. Since I had spent over an hour writing up the original complaint about Wellcare, I asked them to send me the complain so I could copy/paste it into this form vs. rewriting it. ScamPulse.com did not do that, so I reported SPAM and Phishing and wrote a cease and desist email to the original sender of the Wellcare email. No one from Well care responded. Now, today, I get another email from this company congratulating me , again, on my enrollment and asking me to pick a primary care provider ??? I have a primary care provider through my health care, so I called the number in the Wellcare email and not surprisingly, they had no record of an account for me and suggested I had been the victim of a "scam." They said they could try finding me if I gave them my SS # which I declined to do. They had no further suggestions for me and no idea about how they got my email address, etc. They said it was "illegal" for agents to enroll me without my permission as if they were completely removed from the process. I am terrified that they have my information and my health care will be cancelled and I will start being charged by this unscrupulous company.
