Recently, my mother encountered a scammer named Patrick who claimed to be from Instagram support. Patrick reached out to her, insisting that there was an urgent issue with her account that needed immediate attention. He convinced her that the only way to resolve the problem was to purchase $97 worth of bitcoin and send it to a specific address. Thankfully, we realized it was a scam before any money was sent. It's a reminder to always be cautious and verify the identity of anyone requesting money or personal information online.
