Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

They some how contacted a 70 year old man, told him that they would send him package of drill bits for a good price, didn't list the price. Said it would be invoiced and to make payment when it arrived. He gave up his home info to see what they would send him. When it arrived it was a bunch of junk and very cheap drill bits and they want almost $400. They wont answer emails or phone calls. The invoice says to pay it in full or return for a refund. No return info is given you have to pay for shipping and a 10% restocking fee. No resolution has came of this but from things ive read on the internet this isnt the first of this and supposedly they have "sent people to collections " for not paying.

Received a call from that company asking if we want some samples. Initially I said no, they insisted and just wanted to send some samples. I finally said ok, and a month later a box showed up with some tool. The box was sitting in our office unopened for over a month. Someone finally opened the box and noted the tools and brought it to my attention. We look at the box and put it aside. A few weeks later I received a call asking for payment. I asked payment for what? They said the tools I ordered. We then emptied the box again and found an invoice at the bottom of the box. I called, emailed and wrote several letters asking for RMA so we could send the box back. They said "..we do not want it back". I told them the box will be here if they want to pick it up, or alternatively pay to ship the box back. Now they are demanding payment. They have a collection agency calling and harassing us. The box is still here ready to go. I keep on telling that. All the reviews I read indicate that this is a scam that the are exposing a number of people to. This must be illegal and should b e stopped! How can you help?

I received a call from this company trying to do business I told them I was not interested they kept on trying I did not want to be rude and hang up , he insisted of sending a gift for no charge no credit card needed just need a address I said I’m still not interested now I’m receiving invoices from this company inland empire industrial tool and supply I see that they are big scammers , I never receive anything from this company and they are sending me invoices be aware of this company fraud schemes

Telemarketer stated the company Inland Empire Industrial Tool and Supply is giving products for free to build customers further contacted me today claiming I owe them 537.39. In efforts to get clarity asked to speak to manager Crystal Martinez who disregarded laugh and my concern and decline to give me any further manager information claim I am responsible to pay and laughed. Explain that was not the agreement and company is taking advantage of the vulnerable. Again she disregarded my concern laugh and call ended .
