We purchased a beagle pup from a breeder( supposedly)on a website called serenitybeagleshome.com. We signed a contract and sent the money on Dec.2,with a delivery date of Dec.9.On the Delivery date we were contacted by a man named Luis Landin ( supposedly)representing the courier company named Mega Pet Ways,or Mega Logistics, or Pet Mega Logistics. He then convinced us to send them an additional 2500$ for a thermal crate,insurance, vaccinations, permits ,anti nausea meds,etc.During this we were also still in contact with Mike (supposedly) at serenitybeagleshome.com who convinced us it was all legit and we would be refunded 95% of it.Needless to say after all this,we received absolutely nothing and realized our worst fears we were totally scammed by the breeder and the Courier!!We have since reported both companies now to the FTC and the BBB.We want to reach out to PayPal too and get the word out on these scammers!We have kept all emails, text messages, etc from these people as evidence of all this.
