The scammers advertise "The Collective North" and Amilie Montreal as a legitimate retail business, one in Montreal and the other in Toronto, as two businesses having a 50% sale, off their clothing line, due to shutting down the businesses due to not being able to compete with big box stores. The detail and design of the clothing are depicted as high end clothing, making one believe that they are getting a great deal for quality clothing. The scammer will send the clothing to you via Canada Post. When the clothing arrives, you find the product to be poorly designed and poorly made, with extremely poor quality workmanship and material. The product is not at all what was advertised on line. In my case I attempted to contact the seller, through the e-mail provided on their web site and requested a return address to return the clothing purchased with an explanation that the product was poor quality and did not fit me properly. The person who replied to my email, gave me an address in Asia, where I could send the product, or they implied I could keep the product and they would reimburse me 15% of the total value of the product. I refused, and asked for a full reimbursement, as I was not satisfied with the product. The person replying to my email then advised they would reimburse me 25% of the total value of the product. I refused and advised them that It dawned on me that I had been scammed, and that I would report them to the Better Business Bureau.
