Our daughter who has Type 1 Diabetes went online to find health insurance while between jobs and filled out something online to get a quote, from first health quote (she thinks). She was contacted by several companies. Quick Health a supposed insurance broker/agent had a good quote so she purchased the plan with my husband on the phone line for over $4000. This plan did not cover anything. Supposedly administered by HMA or Hawaii Mainland Administrators. The doctors on the HMA website don't actually accept the insurance. And she was left with a $4000 bill for basic tests from Quest. She cancelled that policy and she and my husband bought a "better" year long plan for over $14,000.00.. But this plan did not pay either. She had to pay out of pocket for her insulin which is very expensive. Our daughter got a new job the next month so on September 20th, we cancelled the policy and they keep saying they will refund the money but do not. It's been over 90 days. We've talked to Charles, and Jesus by email and text. Various emails are: [email protected] ,[email protected], [email protected]. Cell for "Jesus": 717 -398-7554?. He and Charles say they are in PA but the address on the supposed but fake refund that is not trackable is listed from the "merchant" in Florida. The health admin HMA is in Arizona. Website:https://hmatpa.com. They prey on vulnerable people who need health care.
