Karen Fomafung is the owner of BeingAgile consulting. She has a YouTube channel she calls Beingagile consulting where she discusses scrum Master topics and promises training and mentoring programs if people sign up. She offers level 1 and level 2 which she charges $1000 each level. I signed up for level one where she urged everyone to sign up for level 2 if we want to learn more about the tools then requested for certification in order to proceed. I was pursuing my masters program at the time, a different course with Walden University and so i had waited until I graduated graduate school in May 2023 in order to take the Scrum Master certification exam. In June 2023 when I had passed the Scrum Master certification, I reached out to BeingAgile consulting to get into the level 2 program so I can learn the tools. The program lasted 2 months without the trainer teaching anything, and when the program ended I was not provided what I had paid for. I am currently enrolled in the same program but with a different school called AgileCore which I paid part for training through Zelle on september 11th 2023 and since i started training, I have learned a lot about the tools like Jira, azure devops etc. BeingAgile consulting did not teach anything other than have interview questions and answer sessions 2x a week the entire program. BeingAgile consulting is a fraudulent business and should be investigated. They lie about what services they offer but after getting paid, they do not offer the service. I am asking for my money to be refunded in full because there was no need for a level 1 or 2. It is a fraudulent means of scamming innocent people seeking scrum Master training. There are several complaints from people in the program who are willing to stand as witnesses. She has blocked and deleted my youtube reviews and reviews of other people who she has scanned, and because she can only be found on her website, and not a random google search, she monitors and controls her reviews to make it look like she has great reviews. She uses her page and videos to lure people into paying up to $2500 with promises of getting better training in her level 2 program, when her level 2 is a 2 month program where she shows up 2x a week for 8 weeks to answer interview questions and have guests. No training on how to use the tools, no hands-on training whatsoever. I have since filed a police report and contacted the IC3 to reportthis business. I have also contacted my bank to get back my full refund. Shes a scammer and she needs to be stopped immediately.
