Industrial Chem Lab Reports & Reviews (6)

This company sent unordered cleaning products to two locations of our company and followed up with invoices, as though we had ordered. They secured shipping names by calling and asking our receptionist who is the "director of ...".The name on my director's package was so badly mangled (phonetically) that it was obvious, on sight, that he had not placed the order. The same situation happened at the other location, as well. In addition, our departments do not order cleaning products. When calling the company, they told me to just refuse the shipment saying it was "signed for accidentally," which I did. But, when I asked why only three of the company's 110 Google reviews do not mention their scam, the company representative got angry. Interestingly, no one is seen signing for the package on our camera yet the UPS signature shows as SMITH (come on, let's be more original than that). We do not have a SMITH working for our company. Luckily, I was able to notify our Accounts Payable Department about both packages before they were paid. I have a feeling this saga is not over...

Industrial Chem Lab keeps sending a RANDOM invoice with products we did not order, and when we call them, they will try to get us to believe that someone else ordered it or approved it on the company's behalf. We've already mistakenly paid them $450. They will not stop sending us invoices for things we didn't buy. Unfortunately after researching the company, they specifically target businesses like ours such as asisted living, etc. and do the same thing - either send an invoice for products never sent or invoice products marketed as free/samples. They will often try to blame the maintenance staff or department on the approval - they attempted that with us as well.

This vendor called my hotel numerous times to get the name of our lead housekeeper. Once he got the name, he sent a package to the hotel of 2 gallons of concrete cleaner. As most hotels, front desk are staffed 24/7, and they sign for chemical deliveries each week. Once I saw the package, I called the vendor to return it, as no one is an authorized purchaser other than the GM or owner, and this isn't a vendor we use for any cleaning supplies (plus, why would we need concrete cleaner?). The lady I spoke to told me 'tough' - all orders are final and that no credit would be given. This was in September. After 3 months of disputing, we finally gave up and paid this bill in December. Come January, here comes another shipment, with a different employees name on it. I called and spoke to Phil G., the rudest person I've ever dealt with. He stated that my staff called in an order to them. I explained that no one other than me are authorized purchasers. I asked him for the name, and of course, it's a desk clerk who answers the phone. I asked for his manager and he said he doesn't have one and he is the manager. These people are con artists and will receive no payments for their fraudulent shipments. We're also filing two other complaints. These people should be shut down!

On 11/09/17, Joe Hill contacted on of my facilities and told them he was sending them products, the facility representative told him NO. Orders come directly from our Regional Office, so they facility knew this was a scam. Joe Hill took it upon himself to send the products and invoice the facility. We send the invoice back and the products denied, saying this was a scam. On 10/18/18, I received a phone call from Joe Hill telling me that I, myself, authorized a purchase. I had not spoken to the gentleman. He than proceeded to tell me that he speaks to me everyday at least twice a day and I wouldn't remember that because I speak to over 1,000 people a day - which is very untrue, in my position, if I get six calls a day, that's a lot. I told him we were not interested in his products and told him that he was not to contact any of my facilities - he called me an [censored] and said he would do whatever he wanted. I also spoke wti his manager last year and this year and he apologized for Joe's behavior and would make sure he didn't harass us any further. On 11/06/18, Joe took it upon himself to send product to one of my facilities, without authorization and invoiced for the product. We sent the product and invoice back to this company. They are very rude when you call and tell them to stop sending products and call you names and the whole office gets on the speaker phone and take turns harassing you.

Consumer was contacted over the phone and given a survey by Industrial Chem Labs. She was then sent a liquid odor control product that she did not order. When she called a requested a return label, she was not given one and was told that the product would be free. She then received an invoice for $108.26 for the product she was told would be free.
