Left a voicemail on 8/24/18 stating I was being served. Called back spoke to a Michael Dewayne, told me I had an outstanding balance of 244.82 a on payday loan from 2015 from Cash Central. He tried to verify last 4 of SSN. I told him I do not recall a payday loan from that company but if somehow I did indeed owe this then please mail me a certified letter and I will set up payments. He said he cannot mail me anything but could send an email. Informed him that will not work, I need a certified letter so I can send a cashier check or money order to satisfy the debt. He said I can only pay with a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card. I told him I only deal in cash. I don’t have any cards. The caller threatened me with being served at my home or place of employment. Reiterated that I need a certified letter so I can meet with my attorney. I did not confirm any information with them.
