I started a long video about a vitamin supplement to help neuropathy called NerveForte. I wanted to know if ingredients would be mentioned. They were mentioned, and I took note of them and went to NIH and other credible medical websites to read the research to see if claims were valid and grounded. Some were; some were not. Their pitch was based on one-time ordering; they don't hook you into a monthly subscription. Thinking it could not hurt, I filled out the fields to order a supply. Then my gut told me to read their privacy policy. I clicked the link at the bottom of the webform and read that all of my information would be sold to other merchants and robocallers. I had no link to adjust the cookie level of the site. Nerve Forte dismissed California privacy law and even EU's GDPR as not pertaining to them! This was not a company I wanted to deal with so I went back to the web form and deleted all of my information -- then closed the browser window. This morning I received a call from a telemarketer ("Sarah" at 833-861-1259) asking me why I did not complete my order and that she is calling me to help complete it-- which means that NerveForte implanted a cookie without my permission. How else could they have gotten my phone number? (Sarah admitted as such, but she would not confirm nor deny that they hadn't already sold my PI and that they did not capture my CC#-- I have no confidence that they did NOT). BBB, please help with these predatory and deceitful business practices on the Internet. I cannot imagine someone who is not computer savvy (I am 40 years in Information Technology) and gets tangled up with these monsters. Please stop this company from hurting and deceiving people.
