The ad comes up as it is Bed Bath and Beyond clearance sale website.

They copied Bed Bath and Beyond they claim to have have the rights to liquidate Bed Bath and beyond -they are all over Facebook adds , games adds so someone is paying for those .

I thought I was buying a winter rain coat marked down on sale from the actual Obermeyer.com website - ****************************** but this apparently is a copycat of the real verified site - https://obermeyer.com. I was led to the fake website based on my Google search. The coat was "reduced" from full price to only $99.00. I thought it was strange that I was asked to verify credit card information differently than on most sites but I was distracted and proceeded. Once I got their thank you email, I knew something was wrong. There was no brand information, it looked fake with a weird order number & distorted payment image. I didn't receive any email confirmation of my purchase.

I looked up the merchant name which was BestDuka and there were multiple reviews on TrustPilot - ********************************************** about this scammer site. Consumers didn't receive their items, their credit cards were used for fraudulent purchases, and they couldn't contact the company. It seems they are located in Dar es Salam, Tanzania - https://www.bestduka.com/about-us/

I've alerted my credit card company about the fraud and have stopped any payment on my item and closed my card.

Based on consumer complaints on TrustPilot, it seems this company has set up multiple fraudulent websites trying to scam people into buying fake merchandise.

Stated that Louis Vuitton was having a sale and misrepresented their website as Louis Vuitton the company.

on August 31 2022 I found Hertz car rental website to make a reservation. A gentleman by the name of Marty answered the phone and proceeded to take my information and offered me assistance with a gold card membership. he said I needed to purchase an American Express card of 500.00 to cover the secure car rental fee for the three days. I did what was asked since most rental companies request a three to four hundred payment until the car is return. once this transaction was made. He called me back and said there was a problem with the billing department stating I had to get another card with an additional 300.00. at this point a red flag came and I knew there was a problem. i went to Hertz rental in Clayton Missouri and the clerk called the number from the Hertz website and spoke with Mr. Marty and he proceeded to run the same scam. I am in dire need to get the 500.00 dollars that I was scam out of through The Hertz website
