These people are structured thanks to the information sold by Verizon's internal staff. They know how much you owe from your receipts, name, address and phone. Verizon sales staff is not reliable. They are in other countries and lend themselves to scam people in the United States.

I just received a call from this number claiming that the new iPhone I just received from Verizon was refurbished and that I'd have to send it back, otherwise they "would not be responsible." I blew up at him, asking him how he planned to rectify the situation after I spent three hours transferring my old phone and he hung up.

I ordered phones and the scammer called me 5 times until I answered and said the phones were refurbished instead of new. They said I needed to send them back and would receive new ones when they were shipped out. They had my email and address to verify where to send the new phones and shipping label to.
