Carbon Health Podcast Editor Employment Scam

Do not take any interviews, do not give him any personal information! Someone on the east coast is impersonating HR for large healthcare companies. This guy impersonated the actual lead for HR for Carbon Health and sent over detailed information regarding a remote podcast editing position. This employment scam was quite elaborate and provided full documentation. I have attached the PDF of the job briefing he sent me. This person is used Carbon's company logo, and has created an email address ([email protected]) to receive and send messages. I was directed through 2 different interviews, one of which was over Microsoft Teams, the second through a phone call. I was able to realize it was a scam from looking up the phone number afterwards. Someone on here described something very similar that happened to them a couple months ago with RVO.

This job promises 18$ an hour. Also, they claim to provide discounts, PTO, etc. They will give you orientation. They promise to reimburse travel and all that. I was told I would spend three nights in NYC on their dime. No one communicated any information to me. They barely answer the phone and call at weird hours. They claim to have a Human Resources department but they don't have a phone number. All they have is an email. When I asked for the email to HR they denied providing it. I filled out all my personal info for them including my I9 and financial information. I'm worried that they will steal my identity and financial information. I tried to get clarification and they didn't give me any and hung up on me. It's like I spooked them. They claimed HR would reach out to me. They restricted access to all my employment accounts including my PAYCOR. Which is how we edit our direct deposit. The company is up to something no good and I want to stop them before they steal from me or anyone else.
