The scammer submitted a "contact us" form on the website of the company I work for, stating interest in one of our products. They impersonated a real person at a real company. But when I emailed them, the reply I got was from a different person who is not listed on the company's website. They used the address 3001 North Rocky Point Drive East Suite 200 Tampa, Florida 33607, even though the company they were claiming to be from does not have any offices in the state of Florida. It wasn't until my boss mentioned that it seemed weird that I looked into it and found that the email address had a spelling error and the IP address was from Nigeria. That was after my boss had already accepted a Teams Meeting invite.
