A work from home job. I was offered a job after doing an interview. They were very pushy and told me I got the job that I needed to buy the equipment. They sent me a check for $3,850.17 to get equipment. I had to print out the check and deposited it into my account I had to show proof that I put the money in my account. That’s it so far

I live in dual states and due to some unfortunate events, I’d moved back to my hometown and I’m also without a vehicle so I figured that online work would be the way to go. I applied to a bunch of jobs and after a few weeks, I get this email for a teleworking position. I didn’t think much of it at first but after corresponding with Michael on Skype and being offered a job after about 2 hours of going back and forth during the interview process, I signed a document welcoming me to the team. Shortly after, I got an online check… needless to say, SCAM! Kinda upset cause I’m in dire need of employment but I’m glad that my financial institution flagged it. The red flags were definitely there and I looked past them. I’m just glad I didn’t put any personal information other than my name, email and number, which can all be easily looked up online anyway.
Don’t do it!

I received the same verbatim text message this morning about finding my resume on indeed. Okay I'll bite went through the interview process, then comes the "We'll send you a digital check to purchase your equipment". Automatic red flag. I had never heard of a digital check being legit. My bank agreed, they would not honor it. The cherry on top was the email that was sent for "the accounting department" they not only asked for all my banking information but a voided check. The paperwork was not fillable, they wanted you to print it out, sign it, take a picture and send it back. Big no no! That would give you my handwritten signature and a check. Please be careful out here.

So one John Gellerman is texing me now that is 13 July 2022 at 10:30am EST that my resume has been selected for multiple roles. I asked him for his office location (thank god I immediately googled and found this place), he replied saying this is a strictly work from home position and the pay rate is around 28$ per hour. I asked him to email me the job description before rushing me to set up Google chat/ Skype. He cuts me saying more info will be provided once we connect now on interview. I believe no employer rushes with the interview thing, they email you for availability or even have a 3rd party site schedule time slots for interviews. I’m also insisting to know their office location. All the red flags, enough info.

I have the same situation at 3pm today with the same person and same conversation.

I received a text this morning from a Mr. John Gellerman that my application had been reviewed and immediately wanted to meet via Skype or Google Chat. Asked the interview questions, passed my info along, then offered me a position. As I was interviewing, I was also researching and came across this page. I knew it was too good to be true.

I guess I applied for a job but it’s just a scam. It’s same email as the others received but “different” company.

Someone will email you and tell you to download Telegram messenger.

David King is the person u correspond with over the app.

They then send you a very legal looking document to sign for the job and a check for anywhere from $1000 to $4000.

They will then want you to send it through PayPal or Venmo or anywhere else to send it to the “vendors” to get your equipment for the job.

Lisa flener is the name used for PayPal and misty Moore for Venmo. They will also tell you to click on the friend or family option. It is all a scam!

I am in the process of looking for a full time job. I placed my resume on Careerbuilder, and I was contacted by a recruiter to contact the hiring manager https://t.me/David_kingdesk.

The interview was conducted via the app Telegram. After the interview I received a offer letter, and it was a very professional, legal document.

The offer was to good to be true from the entire “interview “ process, and the fact that they wanted me to deposit a emailed check into my account which was missing numbers. The email containing the check read the following..
